Drawback - Product description under SS. No. 87.09 of Dbk.Table.

Drawback Circular No. 66/99-Cus Dated 30/9/1999 F.No. 609/116/99-DBK Government of India Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue, New Delhi Subject: Production description under SS. No. 87.09 of the Drawback Table - regarding. Certain representations have been received in this Directorate seeking clarification whether in the Sub-Serial No. 87.09 in the Drawback Table, the description of the goods is "Others" or "Other Tippers". It is hereby clarified that the word "Tipper" has inadvertently crept into the product description of SS. No. 87.09 in the Drawback Table, 1998-99 and the said error has continued in the current Drawback Table. The product description against S.No. 87.09 should be read as "Others" only which connotes "Chassis of Motor Vehicles of pay load exceeding 4000 kgs."
