[TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART-II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (ii)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) ……… NEW DELHI, THE 30TH DECEMBER, 2006. 9TH PAUSA, 1928(SAKA ) NOTIFICATION No. 125/2006-Customs G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act,1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 25/98-Customs, dated the 2nd June, 1998, namely:- In the said notification, in the TABLE:- (i) (ii) In the heading, for the words “Sub-heading No.”, the words “Sub-Heading or Tariff Item” shall be substituted; against S.No. 10, for the entry in column (2), the entry “8456 90 10” shall be substituted; (iii) against S.No. 11, for the entry in column (2), the entry “8486 40 00” shall be substituted; (iv) against S.No. 12, for the entry in column (2), the entry “8456 (v) 90 90” shall be substituted; against S.No. 51, for the entry in column (2), the entry “854310 10” shall be substituted; (vi) against S.No.55, for the entries in column (2), the entry “8486 20 00” shall be substituted; (vii) against S.No. 56, for the entry in column (2), the entry”8486 90 00” shall be substituted; 2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of January 2007. [F.No.528/5/2006-Cus (TU)] (S.
