EGM - Amends the Export Manifest (Aircraft) Regulations, 1976.

30th August, 2005 Notification No. 75/2005-Customs (N.T.) In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendments to the Export Manifest (Aircraft) Regulations, 1976, namely:- (a) In Form – II, - Passenger Manifest, referred to in sub-clause (ii) of clause (c) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 3, in the column, for “S u rn am e an d in itials” an d th e en trie s re lating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- Surname and initials For use by owner or operator only For official use only Passport/Official travel document details PNR details Prep ared b y … … … … … … … … .. Pag e … … .… … … .. o f … … … … … … p ages (b) After regulation 4, the following shall be inserted, namely:- “5 . Passen g er m a n ifest. – (1) The passenger manifest shall be delivered three hours before the departure of the flight. (2) The manifest shall be transmitted electronically to the Indian Customs. (3) Where the manifest cannot be delivered electronically due to some unavoidable reason, the same may be delivered as acceptable to the concerned Commissioner of Customs in accordance with the conditions prescribed in the procedure. (4) In case of any amendment to the manifest, the same shall be transmitted to the Indian Customs as soon as such amendments are m ad e an d b efo re th e d ep artu re o f th e flig h t.”. [F.
