Inland Container Depots for loading and unloading of goods — Appointment of Notification No. 15/95-Cus. (N.T.), dated 10-3-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (aa) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the places mentioned in column (3) of the Table below, situated in the State or, as the case may be, the Union territory specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table, as inland container depots, save as otherwise provided in the proviso to this notification, for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods : Provided that the places at (ii), (v) and (vi) against serial No. 1, place at (iii) against serial No. 4 and places against serial Nos. 5 and 12 are appointed as Inland Container Depots for the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. Explanation:- For the purpose of place at (ii) against serial No. 4 of the T ab le, “g o o d s” m ean s d ia m o n d s, p recio u s an d sem i-precious stones, pearls, jewellery made of gold or any other precious metal, with or without studding, industrial diamonds including powders, both natural and synthetic, and synthetic stones.
