IGM - Import Manifest (Aircraft) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003.

19th December, 2003 Notification No. 113/2003 - Customs (N.T.) In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157, read with section 30 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Import Manifest (Aircraft ) Regulations, 1976, namely:- 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Import Manifest (Aircraft) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003. (2) These regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Import Manifest (Aircraft) Regulations, 1976, - (a) regulation 3 shall be numbered as sub-regulation (1) thereof; and after sub-regulation (1) as so numbered, the following shall be inserted, namely:- “(2 ) Any person who delivers the import manifest to proper officer under section 30 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), shall apply for registration with the C u sto m s in Fo rm V .”; (b) after Form IV, the following Form shall be inserted, namely:- “FO R M V [see regulation 3(2)] APPLICATION FORM FOR REGISTRATION 1. Name of applicant with detail Permanent Account Number (PAN):- (In case the applicant is a firm or a company, the name of each of the partners of the firm or the directors of the company as the case may be) 2. Full address of the applicant:- (In case the applicant is a firm or a company, the full address of each of the partners of the firm or the directors of the company as the case may be) 3. The name(s) and address of the authorized persons:- (In case the applicant is a firm or a company, the name (s) of its partner or partners or director or directors or duly authorized employees who will actually be engaged in the work of filing import manifest). 4. Educational qualification of each of the persons who will actually be engaged in the filing of import manifest:- 5. The enclosures:- (a) Copy of contract, or (b) Memorandum of understanding, or (c) Agreement entered into with the foreign authorizing agent. I/We hereby declare that the contents of the above paragraphs are true to the best of my/our knowledge. Date:- Place:- Signature of the applican t (s)”. D.S.
