Import - Import of "Cineraria Maritima Eye Drops".

Cineraria Maritima Eye Drops- Import of: F. No. 446/25/92-Cus.IV-dated 3-2-1993. Government of India, Central Board of Excise & Customs, New Delhi. Subject: Import of "Cineraria Maritima Eye Drops" – Regarding: The Drug Controller of India has informed this office that the import of the drug labeled as "Cineraria Maritima Succus" should be allowed only if it conforms to the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of Indian standards. Further, any other product purported to be Cineraria Maritima Succus Eye Drops must also be based on the Cineraria Maritima Succus as given in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of India and the products not mentioned in the Pharmacopoeia should conform to the label claims. The Drug Controller has already advised the Port Officers of Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation to check the quality of every consignment of Cineraria Maritima Eye Drops imported into the country prior to its release. It is requested that the officers may kindly be apprised of these directions issued by the Drug Controller of India.
