(N.T.), dated 17-8-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), New Delhi to be the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Mumbai, the Commissioner of Customs (Air Cargo), Sahar, Mumbai, the Commissioner of Customs, Calcutta or as the case may be, Commissioner of Customs (General), New Delhi for the purpose of adjudication of the cases pertaining to M/s. G.M. Overseas Pvt. Ltd. and other firms/companies/persons in terms of show cause notice F. No. 50D/24/98-C.I, dated the 19th May, 1999 issued by Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi. [Notification No. 47/99-Cus.
