Circular No. 119/95 Dated 22/11/95 F.No. 473/34/95- LC Government of India Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue Central Board of Excise & Customs, New Delhi Subject: Delegation of powers to Assistant Commissioner, SEEPZ relating to operation of private bonded warehouse in SEEPZ Ref. from Development Commissioner, SEEPZ - Regarding. I am directed to say that a request has been received from the Development commissioner, SEEPZ for delegation of powers to Assistant Commissioner of Customs, SEEPZ relating to grant of private bonded warehouse licence under section 58 of the Customs Act, 1962 in SEEPZ a Bombay. 2. The matter has been examined by the Board and with a view to obviate the difficulties of the units and to eliminate delay in bonding the units at SEEPZ, a policy decision has been taken by the Board that the request for grant of private bonded warehouse licence under section 58 of the Customs Act, 1962 in SEEPZ should be decided at the level of the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, SEEPZ with post facto information of the Commissioner of Customs. 3.
